Present for his birthday cuz it's nicer to do something original than base it on an existing outfit. I figured a traje de luces is something he would totally try out; how could he not after all the shiny Renaissance stuff and Napoleon costumes? (EDIT: lol he did wear one)
Anyway, it was a bitch to do all the details - at least I can draw his face fine LOL
